Mid Border Arts (MBA) Privacy Notice

At Mid Border Arts we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors and supporters. Whether you are subscribing to our mailing list, buying tickets or browsing our website, here is where you’ll find information on how we protect your privacy and keep your data safe and secure.

Types of data we collect:

1. Mailing lists

We want you to know that MBA does not sell or trade email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes.

We do work collaboratively with other community arts groups and may sometimes email you details of joint projects or community arts events that we are supporting.

Like many other arts organisations, we email information about our events and programmes to you a third party email service.

2. Ticketing data

You may, of course, purchase tickets in person either on the door or at the Workhouse Gallery and Café  (Industrial Estate, Presteigne LD8 2UF) without supplying any personal information.

Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent

3. Visitors to our website

The use of cookies is standard practice for all websites.

4. Parental consent

MBA provides regular drama workshops for children and young people. When their children join, parents are required to fill in a consent form. This information is recorded in a database that is kept in a secure area of our Google cloud storage and accessible only by the MBA Chair, Data Protection and Safeguarding Officers.

In case there is an emergency during a session, workshop leaders also have access to a hard copy of each child’s emergency contact/medical details. These are kept in a locked document store in the Assembly Rooms.

This information is deleted/shredded as soon as there is no further requirement for it.

5. Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information that we hold. Please email your request to info@midborderarts.com

6. Changes to this Privacy Notice

MBA will review this notice annually.
